A Rambling Tale
Your first patrol with the Longstriders was an eventful one. You're partnered with Strider Ponch, a rambunctious dragonborn known for getting into trouble. Together you've dealt with drug-smuggling bandits, a hostage situation, and even a horse-speed chase that ended with an exploding carriage. It was pretty intense, you should have seen it.
As your patrol ends you come across a gilded palanquin borne by a squad of shambling corpses.
"The Ghoul Queen's emissary," Ponch sneers. "The fools in Troviska would sue for peace with these monsters. Maybe we can encourage them to go home instead."
